Mrs. Clute began teaching in 2021, after receiving a dual degree in both Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education from Ottawa University Phoenix in June 2021. Prior to moving to Payson, she began her teaching career in Gilbert, AZ teaching First Grade at a Charter School. She and her husband relocated to Payson, where she has taught both First grade and Kindergarten at Payson Elementary School. Mrs. Clute enjoys teaching young students, watching them as they grow both academically and socially as the foundation is being built for their future educational years. She values the importance of building community in her classroom with her students and her families and can often be found outside of the classroom attending her students extracurricular activities. When not teaching, Mrs. Clute and her husband spend time with their three sporting dogs, and playing Flyball.
