Corey Watson graduated from PHS in 1999. He is an Army veteran and served in The USA, Bosnia, Afghanistan, Germany, Turkey, Greece, Italy Kuwait and Oman. Mr. Watson began teaching after his military service ended in 2005. He taught English in Turkish private schools in Istanbul and Izmir, for 18 years. In 2023, he returned to Payson to teach SPED at JRE. He enjoys making chill-out / electronic music under the name Solar Injected. He can be found DJing, hiking, hammocking, and getting lost in new places. Mr. Watson aims to leave his students with the knowledge that despite being from a small town, they will make lasting impacts on the world through their determination and passion for their dreams.
