Important information for the 2021-2022 school year!

JRE Important Information

Important information for the 2021-2022 school year.

  • PUSD has adopted a four day school week with longer school days for this school year. Your child will attend school Monday through Thursday, 7:37 AM - 2:50 PM. It is vitally important that your child is at school every day, on time, ready to learn.

  • If your child is tardy and arrives at school after 7:59 AM, they must be signed into the school by an adult.  Students will not be admitted to class until they are signed in.

  • Students cannot be dismissed from school between 2:20 PM and 2:50 PM. We will be having school wide Reteach and Enrich instruction during this time and your student may be learning in a different classroom than the one to which they are assigned. Please plan to sign your child out of school before 2:20 PM if they need to leave early.

  • Students at parent pickup cannot be released to family members who walk up to the gate. Students will be released to family members who drive up in the pickup line.

  • Want to VOLUNTEER for the 2021-2022 School Year to help in the classroom, library, go on field trips, or help with school events? The process begins at the district office; you may pick up a volunteer packet there. Absolutely no volunteers will be admitted to the school without being cleared through the DO first. For more information call (928) 474-2070. This process takes about three weeks to complete.

  • Payson USD is maintaining its 1:1 student technology program to support learning. We offer the PUSD Device Protection Plan (DPP) to all students. The DPP will minimize the potential repair and/or replacement fees associated with the device under PUSD Board policies EDBA, JQ and JICB.

Plan payment of $25 annually maintains the device enrollment in the DPP. If a device becomes damaged, the student will take it to the school’s designee and follow the repair procedure. There is no deductible charged. The Technology Department will repair or replace the device. If the device is lost or stolen, a fee of $320 will be assessed.

What is covered under the plan?

  • Accidental damage, such as cracked screens or cases, broken keyboards, etc.

  • Hardware issues (video cable, broken ports, speakers, malfunctioning components)

What is NOT covered under the plan?

  • Lost or stolen devices

  • Lost, stolen or damaged AC Adapters

  • Intentional or habitual damage to the device, as determined by the Principal and Technology Department

  • Infestation and biohazard remediation

Enrollment in the DPP does not begin until the payment has been received and must be received by August 31, 2021. Payments can be made online (preferred) via credit card through the PUSD Webstore - pusd10.org (visit http://bit.ly/pusdwebstore for instructions) or at the school. Additional information can be found at http://bit.ly/pusdsdh.
